The majority of our kittens travel far from Montana to their new homes, sometimes as far as Japan, Europe and Hong Kong. Since the health, safety and happiness of our kittens and cats is paramount to us, we do ship by air freight. For delivery in the United States and Canada, the kitten will leave Montana in the early morning and always arrive the same day, usually before 5 pm. In OVER 28 YEARS that we have shipped by air, we have never had anything unpleasant happen to any of our kittens. Our kittens are always shipped in FAA approved cat carriers. This carrier is yours to keep and will be large enough, so that it will come in handy for any future ventures with your feline companion. $45 - Carrier.Shipping Costs differ depending on destination. For example, from Helena or Great Falls, Montana, to San Francisco, California, Denver, Atlanta, Etc :Basic BUYER(s) Charges: Veterinarian Basics; SHIPPING = INSURED/ CRATE/ ECT: = $450.00 Shipping out of Helena, MT: $285.00 - Via Northwest Airlines Shipping/ Ins.+ $175.00 - VIP = Approx: $460.00 (without Vet/ Crate Added) Shipping out of Great Falls, MT: $100.00 Fuel from Helena, MT to Great Falls to make connections for the best flight for YOUR SCOTTISH FOLD + $175.00 Possible VIP Charge to make connections + $175.00 Possible Daycare, inbetween connections that will be longer than 5 hours of waiting for the animal. ALL SCOTTISH FOLD CATS OR KITTENS TRAVELING BY AIRLINES, OUT OF THE STATE OF MONTANA, MUST BE INSPECTED BY A LICESNSED Veterinarian AND GIVEN A Montana State Health Certificate, if 12 weeks or older, must also be vaccinated for rabies. This ensures the new owner, that the kitten is healthy before it leaves Montana for it's new home. Basic Veterinarian Visit: Approx. $150.00 (without any surgical - which prices will be confirmed due to: agreement for purchase, request issues, when necessary) OR In special cases, with special permission, we will supply you with a picture I.D. for Spay and Neuter, with a designated date that the cat OR kitten needs to be spayed or neutered by, with a copy going to your Veterinarian of Choice. Once Altered, Picture I.D. supplied or can be resent + copy of validation of this kitten being altered from the Vet work - sent back to Quietimes Scottish Fold Cattery, at which time the cat or kittens file will be closed. Family that have cases where by the de-clawing is a health issue, in lymphoma cases, etc. we are understanding and will allow it, without any hesitation, just need proof. THERE MAY BE ADDITIONAL EXPENSES INCURRED FOR OTHER DESTINATIONS OR VIP SHIPMENTS ( EXAMPLE: Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Etc & OVERSEAS SHIPPING (over night boarding, mileage to an airport (s) to provide best care and connections for your cat or kitten; to accomodate you on your pick-up arrangements, as close as the airlines will allow; and veterinarian/ airline transportation. VET, CHARGES Ect. will be Quoted for you at the time of services requested, upon purchase, in PREPARATION for SHIPPING your SCOTTISH FOLD.Total quoted FOR CAT OR KITTEN = Non-Refundable Deposit, or Non-Refundable = 1/2 of Full Payment over $1,000 or more, already issued to Quietimes Cattery = DUE TO: Feline was taken off the market/ time/self&employees,paperwork, arrangements-appointments made then cancelled, etc. Any Questions?
